On 17th - 22th of March 2019, student of 11th grade in senior high school 3 Bandung went to bali as Turbud (Tur Budaya). We went to Bali by plane. We divided into 3 fleet. My class got 3rd fleet and ride on Air Asia plane. We should arrive in Husein Sastranegara Airport Bandung at 10 a.m. In airport, we must done some registration and check. Unfortunatelly, plane for 2nd and 3rd fleet was delayed. Finally, after some hours, our plane took off at 2.00 p.m. WIB. We arrived in Ngurahrai Airport Bali at 4.30 p.m Bali's time. Bali's time is one hour more than Bandung's time. So actually we took around 90 minutes to get Bali by the plane.
After that we went to Jimbaran Beach. There, we took an outdoor dinner and saw a beatiful sunset. Suddenly, it was rains before we done the dinner. So we went to the inside restaurant immediately.
From Jimbaran, we went to the Hotel Quest Denpasar. My group, consist of Aliya, Hasya, and me got room number 120 in the first floor. On the first night, we played some games with sime friends in othe rooms. Then, we sleep late at night.
On the next day, we went to Tanjung Benoa Watersport to play some watersport like banana boat, donut boat, parasealing, flying fish, turtle island, and many more. Zhafira, Alya, Aurel, and I played banana boat. Then, in a minute, we were wet. We were very happy and enjoyed our time there. After that, we took a bath and changed our clothes, then we took a lunch together.
In the mid day, we went to Puja Mandala to pray. Puja Mandala is a place that contain 5 worship place for different religion. There for Islam, Kristen Katolik, Kristen Protestan, Hindu, and Buddha.
After that, we went to Pandawa Beach. Pandawa beach also called secret beach because it located behind hills and between two cliffs which the one of two cliffs sculpted 5 statue of Pandawa and Kunti. There, we took some photos.
Next, we went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. The area of this park reaches 60 hektare. In this park, has stood up Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. It is took 2nd place of the tallest statue in the world after Buddha statue in China. This GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) statue is taller than Liberty Statue in US which took 93 meters. GWK statue took 121 meters.
From GWK, we continued to Bali Nusa Dua Theatre. We watched Devdan Show. Devdan show is 90 minutes dinamic show with traditional and modern dance. The word DEVDAN comes from Sanskrit 'Deva' and 'Dhana', meaning "God's Grace". The Indonesia's treasures are God's gifts for Indonesian people. That show was very amazing. We enjoyed the show very much. After the show, we took photos together. Then we back to the bus and went to the hotel.
At the 3rd day, on tuesday 19th of March 2019, we visited Tirta Empul. Tirta Empul is a Pura where holy water came out. We took some photos and continued our travel to Kintamani.
Kintamani is a place that has beautiful natural scenery with the mountain and Batur Lake in Bali. The air in Kintamani was so fresh too.
In Kintamani we had a lunch.
After lunch and pray dzuhur in Kintamani, we went to Penglipuran Cultural Village. There we can see traditional house, food, and drinks. In the middle of our journey, suddenly it was rains. So some friends of xi science 3 and I took a shelter for a while. We talked and joked each other. It was pretty fun, I thought.
After that, we went back to hotel and prepared for makrab La Boheme. Makrab took times until around middle night. And then we went sleep.
On the next day, we checked out from hotel after breakfast. Then we go to Kuta Beach.
Kuta Beach is a one of iconic destination in Bali.
Then, we went to Krisna to buy some souvenirs.
After that, we went to Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot also one of iconic destination in Bali. The air was very hot.
When we prepared to go to next destination, AC in our bus was error. After took a while, finally, the AC had function again.
So, immediately we went to next destination, Bedugul. Bedugul is a tourist area with lakes and mountains in Bali, Indonesia, located in the central part of the island near Lake Bratan between Denpasar and Singaraja. We took some photos there and walked around to see the beautiful view. Fun fact, bedugul potrait drawn on Rp50.000,00 Indonesian money.
After felt satisfied enough, we went to RM Kenanga Singaraja to had a dinner, clean up our body, pray never missed, and prepared for a night which we will spent it in travel.
Then, I don't know what time is it. We arrived in Gilimanuk Harbour. We road on ferry ship to cross Selat Bali. It was my first time road a big cool ferry ship. I was very exciting.
It was just took 45 minutes in ferry ship. Then we continued travel by bus again. And we sleep there. At dawn we woke up to take a bath and had a breakfast. It such a fun experience to sleep at the bus one night.
After ready, we continued to go to Proud of Jatim Suramadu Bridge. Unique one, the water in Surabaya has a bit different color with the water of Madura. It was very interesting. We had told about it before by Bli.
In Madura I bought some souvenirs too.
Then, we went back to Surabaya and had lunch in RM Warung Wulan Surabaya.
After lunch and of course pray, we went immidiately to Stasiun Djuanda.
We arrived there around two hours before train departure. My friends and I play some card games while waiting.
Finally, Turangga 49, our executive train has come. Then we road on train to Bandung. In the train, we shared happiness, funny stories, and jokes. Don't forget to take some pictures!
We felt a sleep in train because it took around 12 hours to arrive in Bandung. We spent a night in vehicle again. It was very interesting experience because I spent it with all my friends.
So, that my lovely experience in Turbud. I wish I can rewind the time and go back there with all my friends again. Until now, I can't move on from every moments during Turbud.
